So yeah, I decided to put together a crappy little reference sheet for Harland, mostly because I’ve had thoughts on his design that I wanted to put out in the open and have them stop bouncing around my head all day long 8| AND so I can have his color pallet out there in the open for me to reference off of :D

Finally, a proper introduction!
I’ve been contemplating the idea of making a personal blog for some time now. And after so many requests, I decided to grant you the opportunity to interact with your favorite rogue. I might not be around so much, but I’ll surely entertain you when I am. That is, if you are not the next to be challenged in one of my brilliant traps.

Oh man, Harland and I would be silly and stupid together, we’d roughhouse and horse around, we’d probably drive each other completely crazy with how ditzy he can be and how much of an asshole I can be, but I imagine we’d be my BROTP by the end of the day :D))

((20. What does RPer dislike about character?

As I said before, Harley is my baby and I can’t think rationally about my babies, so I might be able to come back later and leave some legitimate complaints about her. But I do dislike when people don’t understand that Harley is the victim of an abusive relationship and think her and the Joker’s relationship is anywhere CLOSE to healthy when that is very much not the case.

12. What does RPer ship character with?

I ship Harley WITH EVERYONE. Same goes for Harland. They bring sunshine into everyone’s life. EVERYONE’S LIFE. WHETHER THEY LIKE IT OR NOT. Except for with people who would be even worse than Joker like Hugo Strange or Ra’s al-Ghul (sp?)

5. Give one headcanon l have about my character(s).

Aside from gymnastics, Harley also keeps in shape by swimming, so he’s got a swimmer’s bod ;D))

13. Worse moment for character

Any time Harley goes crawling back to the Joker because of bad writing, and though it’s not a moment per-se, her design in the reboot D: If you specifically want Harland, I can probably look back on this blog in a couple years and tell you that everything about this is wrong XD

14. Best moment for character.

For Harland specifically I’m fairly fond of making him beat the shit out of lady!Joker, for Harley I can’t even choose because she is just the very best like no one ever was.

Well for Harland specifically I like how I have him dress while in civvies XD;; To be honest I hate how Harley dresses in her off time :C But that might just be my contempt for short-shorts showing. For Harley… please don’t make me choose ;c; I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HER, SHE IS MY BABY))

((2. Why did I choose my character, and how do I choose to play him/her?

Well, I at first wondered if I should play my lady!Joker, but I realized that very few people can properly write the Joker, and I was not one of them. So I decided that playing genderbent Harley Quinn would be a lot of fun and could lead to a lot of opportunities for drama, humor, heartwarming, the works. I play Harland… exactly the same way I’d play Harleen! He’s ditzy and often has his head in the clouds with a psychotic streak a mile wide, but when it comes to people he loves he means well and is genuinely not that stupid.

10. If my character were to die, how would I react?

Depends on how, really! If Harley were to go down fighting and independent, I’d be sad but happy at the same time because she (since Harland doesn’t EXIST in canon, ha ha) died nobly. If she died because of dear old Joker finally deciding to put his running gag to rest, then I’d be sad and angry that she never really developed enough to leave him.

15. What RPer secretly wants character to do.

You don’t know how much I want to get Harland caught between two of his friends, wanting both of them to be happy while they’re at odds with each other and tearing himself apart trying to make sure nobody he loves gets hurt. Getting between Alice and Jervis or Billy and Jervis would probably work best for this, I think.))
